Working With Animals Is A Blessing.
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT):
Pros: I love working with clients; they are amazing. I love being able to help others take care of their pets and give medical advice. I enjoy doing medical procedures.
Cons: Feeling very unappreciated. Continuously being asked and told to do additional jobs with no compensation. It is very stressful when there is not enough staff to take care of the daily tasks properly. When people are so angry, directly rude and mean is disheartening. It is frustrating to see people ignore their pet's basic needs and medical care.

Cons: High stress, low pay, demanding hours, emotionally draining, physically draining.
