Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Reviews
What is it like working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)?
October 2015
Find an experienced mentor.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT):
Find yourself a great mentor, or preceptor. Learn everything you can from that person. School didn't teach me anything about really practicing respiratory out in the real world. AT ALL. It seemed like school handed me a huge stack of puzzle pieces, fared me well, wished me some luck and bounced me out the door. Many people are able to take those pieces and put that puzzle together pretty darn fast. It took me awhile... I'm not too good with puzzles!
