Rewarding.
Registered Nurse (RN):
Pros: I've met so many appreciative patients. Their appreciation and kind words give me the fuel to continue on in my career everyday.
Cons: It's stressful and overwhelming. Sometimes we don't have enough nurses, so our patients don't get the quality of care they deserve. I feel like the physicians don't appreciate us at times. We spend the majority of the patient'a admission with the patient, not the doctors.
