Pros: i have been at this facility many years, therefore it has become an extended family
Cons: Better working environment and pay

Poor management.
Registered Nurse (RN), Critical Care in Louisville:
Pros: I work with very complex illnesses that are a challenge and a great learning experience.
Cons: The upper management has no clue how to keep good staff or they don’t care to keep them. I am not sure which is a worse scenario. Another ding is how little the management backs up staff when patients and family are either violent or just getting in the way of patient care.

Human Kindness.

Pros: I love that we not only function as a strong evidence based practice community, but we are able to speak to the human aspect. Dignity health holds the human kindness factor in all aspects of their business.
Cons: Because we are able to treat our patients and each other as individuals, we are able to look at each ondividual scenario for what it is. this type of thinking can sometimes become too emotional and not every employee is treated the same.

Pros: The opportunity for A while knew industry to prosper with outpatient surgeries and changing the way the healthcare industry thinks about surgical procedures in the outpatient setting
Cons: No manager in PACU no chain of command. I am a Lead Flight Paramedic and AHA instructor I can Lead I'm trying but I'm 27 and work with 45-59 nursing staff so I need to figure out a way to earn respect and prove to the administration that I can lead.

Cons: Still upper echelon runs the institution even though they claim to be very open to all participating

Pros: Various specialties, evidence-based practice and research, challenging/ exciting cases, newer technology.
Cons: Cutting management, forcing senior RNs to fulfill prior management duties, learning/ teaching hospital becoming borderline unsafe due to absence and lack of support from above roles.
