Operations Coordinator, Logistics Reviews
What is it like working as an Operations Coordinator, Logistics?
December 2013
I Am The Decider.
Operations Coordinator, Logistics:
Pros: If something isn't optimal, I have the power and authority to change it. I'm involved in every aspect of the company and get a say in everything - and as a result, I get to very directly see my influence in improving the workplace. I can set my own goal, priorities, day-to-day tasks, and get to work with small-scale and large-scale improvements. There is nothing I would want more than to be able to make a meaningful difference at my company, and that is the entirety of what I do at work.
Cons: I was brought on as someone who could tighten up (and sometimes replace) every cog in the machine of the company. Unfortunately, I started out with nothing to work with, and my coworkers are completely and entirely apathetic to every aspect of the company - including their own responsibilities. Designing new systems was easy; implementing them and getting others to fall in step was the hard part.
