Pros: The flexibility to organise my working day how it best suits me and what I need to achieve. I am passionate about the industry and understand how it works and what needs to happen to make it work better. I have a good relationship with my employees, they trust that I know what their job entails and that I do my best to make it work for them.
Cons: I am the only one there to fix problems as they arise, often those in the head office don't quite grasp or understand what it is we do so it can be hard to explain certain situations to them. I am on call 24/7. Often I only hear about what doesn't work or what has gone wrong as opposed to what has run well
