WORK FLEXIBILITY.
Pharmacy Technician:
Pros: THE COMPANY CULTURE AND THE RELATIONSHIP OF TOP MANAGEMENT WITH STAFF.
Cons: THE PAY.
I do everything and don't get paid enough.
Senior Pharmacy Technician:
Pros: My coworkers and helping patients deal with insurance issues.
Cons: Insurance issues and being blamed for high copays.
Walgreens CPhT.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT):
Pros: Flexible hours, good for students.
Cons: Overworked, breaks are short, breakroom is too small to accommodate staff, not enough staff to keep pharmacy running efficiently.
Horrible to employees.
Senior Pharmacy Technician:
Pros: Staff.
Cons: Walgreens does not care about their employees/staff.
Pretty nice but strict workplace.
Pharmacist:
Pros: Brands name.
Cons: Stressful shifts and all the rest is history.
Primarily production work.
Pharmacist:
Pros: Good support staff - technicians; patients generally appreciate your work; most providers easy to resolve questions/problems with.
Cons: High pressure environment, emphasis on output rather than proper & complete patient care, work processes require improvement to optimize use of pharmacist time, serious understaffing for workload, insufficient training for specifics of job.
Poor pay in comparison to the stress.
