L3Harris Reviews

What is it like working at L3Harris?

Great schedule, but lacking severely in pay.
Tooling Engineer in Camden:
Pros: My team and manager are very open about helping each other out. The flexibility of PTO and 4/10 schedule is the biggest perk.
Cons: They offered me low six figures as if its supposed to be an accomplishment, making $103,250 in 2024 is not the same buying power as 2020. It's the equivalent of $80k. its ridiculously low considering, "2023 financial commitments and reported record backlog of $33 billion."
Losing focus after Harris merger.
Project Engineer in Greenville:
Pros: Support great end user missions with opportunities you simply can't find elsewhere.
Cons: Management forcing changes that are not compatible with customer/culture. Most is not for the better.
Good schedule, everything else sucks.
Program Manager, Aviation / Aerospace in Clifton:
Pros: 9/89 schedule. Unlimited sick. Unlimited vacation.
Cons: Not valued as an employee
Great place at the top of your field.
Project Engineer in Greenville:
Pros: Mission we support
Cons: Personnel viewed as replaceable and pay lags constantly because of it.
Excellent company toward the top.
Project Engineer in Greenville:
Pros: Mission we support
Cons: Management's lack of acknowledgement that compensation is lagging and no person can be replaced by any other person.
Buyer in El Segundo:
Pros: Hybrid schedule, generous PTO & sick leave
Cons: No overtime pay, no bonus, poor management, no room for growth
Manufacturing Engineer:
Pros:pay above the national average , friendly people, great culture , stable company , range of machines , a lot of capabilities to perform work in-house. Cons:benefits not that great . Heath insurance expensive , no stock buy options for employees .
