Pros: Helping birthing people achieve their goals for a safe delivery and empower them to make choices over their bodies.
Cons: The physicians who show complete disregard for Evidence Based Practice, bully staff & their patients in a patriarchal manner, and complicit management and hospital administration that will see more accidents and difficulties with retention.
It’s very fulfilling.
