What is it like working at Lowe's Companies, Inc?

Awful.
Sales Associate:
Pros: I like working with the plants.
Cons: Management, stress level, perks, corporate culture.
ASM without the pay.
Retail Department Manager:
Pros: The customers can be great. Also the staff has great potential.
Cons: They have some really weak management policies.
Assistant Store Manager:
Cons: Commuting, dealing with misinformed customers.
Poor management.
Sales Specialist:
Pros: The people.
Cons: Almost at every aspect poor management that loves to over work employees to try to get there bonus.
Lowes Life.
Customer Service Associate:
Pros: Super flexible, at my store great asm's store director not so much but its to be expected, most associates are fun and easy to get along with, as far as teamwork it depends on the day and 10% off products is kinda a plus.
Cons: Store director is a pain to work with, kinda brings the employees moral down in the store, no company get togethers, never enough employees in the store so no coverage and at the service desk you handle every departments issues from customers, at the service desk we are unbelievable under staffed and ends up upsetting customers.
Amazing, Rewarding, And Fun.
Department Manager, Retail Store:
Pros: Flexible schedule, know most of our customers, great pay.
Cons: Nothing.
Work Flexibility.
Customer Service Associate:
Pros: Lowe's promotes from within and has a good work environment with reasonable compensation.
Cons: Management is oftentimes lacking.
