Understaffing and Sales Pressure are Rife.
Designer, Kitchen in Cleveland:
Pros: I get to be creative
Cons: Constant litany of sales targets, both within and outside my department, and under-qualified management
Stressful and overwhelming.
Department Manager, Hardware Store in London:
Pros: Friendliness of coworkers
Cons: Very overwhelming, feel stretched thin, no support from assistant store managers or the store manager, disregard to mental health and can’t fill store need to capacity
Great opportunity for growth and advancement.
Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Albuquerque:
Pros: Up until the start of 2023 I was given the opportunity to fill in for my direct manager and other members of management.
Cons: They stopped allowing me to step in for management when they were on vacation and/or sick in the beginning of the year and this really made me feel like I was growing and that ended abruptly in 2023
Room for Growth.

Merchandiser in Norwich:
Pros: It is cool to be a part of the process of how the store changes and see the progress over time

Customer Service Associate in Woodbury:
Pros: I’m always outside and I get to work with a few people I have a good relationship with.
Cons: They cut hours greatly so I work alone with very few people left in the department to allocate the hours that we have to in the second biggest store in the company.
