Physical Therapist Assistant Reviews
What is it like working as a Physical Therapist Assistant?
May 2019
Physical Therapist Assistant in Baltimore:
Worst company I have ever worked for. Constant pressure to attain productivity standards when we had no rehab tech or assistance for patient transport, and no financial incentives to improve performance. No raises, ever! Work Christmas of Thanksgiving? No holiday pay, you have to take another day off. So glad I left, got a $5/ hour increase at my new job, we have a tech and and office manager, much less stressful.

A roller coaster ride.
Physical Therapist Assistant in The Villages:
Pros: Helping patients get back to their prior level of functions, co-worker dynamics and diversity.
Cons: Patients are scheduled back to back with sometimes no rest breaks in between.
Therapist are doing admin work which takes away from actual treatment of patients: filling out cards, asking for reviews, selling products, etc.
Therapist having to call patients when they are not present for appointment while treating another patient.
A lot of work expectations and responsibilities for the amount of pay doesn't quiet match up.
