Physical Therapist Assistant Reviews
What is it like working as a Physical Therapist Assistant?
August 2019
I feel like they are making a lot of money off of my hard work. I’m paid per visit, not by the hour. Mileage is less than Federal Rate.
Physical Therapist Assistant in Colville:
Pros: Helping people regain functional mobility and as much independence as possible. I love the independence of traveling to and from my patient’s homes on my own schedule.
Cons: I’m being taken advantage of, working many more hours than I’m getting paid for since I’m paid per visit. I often drive as much as 40 minutes to a patient’s home, then spend close to an hour in the home, 40 minutes back to the next patient. Then per patient, I spend approximately another 20-30 minutes in the evenings finishing documentation

Phoenix based contract therapy company that has such little regard for their employees. Therapy team (not just me) pay cut and status change from full to part time, without warning! Typical company that wants more for less. Poor communication!!
I’m staying on because I love my job at the facility, and I work with the finest team of therapists ever!!
