General Manager, Restaurant Reviews
What is it like working as a General Manager, Restaurant?
January 2023
Great workplace.
General Manager, Restaurant in Okeechobee:
Pros: Setting and achieving goals to excell in great customer service
Cons: The hours and the pay
January 2023
Stressful dealing with the public.
General Manager, Restaurant in Philadelphia:
Pros: I get to give young African American jobs and keep them off the streets
Cons: The new generation has no respect
December 2022
I have really built great and lasting relationships with my customers. I also love representing a high quality brand.
General Manager, Restaurant in Aberdeen:
Pros: The customers.
Cons: Not being able to use all of my vacation time. I am lucky to use a week. Due to being needed constantly at the store is why I’m not able to take much time off or for longer than 2 days at a time.
November 2022
It is rewarding to serve the community around the store, by serving fast sandwiches.
General Manager, Restaurant in Phoenix:
Pros: I enjoy training the team and seeing the day to day improvements within store operations.
Cons: Having to meet labor goals at the cost of customer experience.
October 2022
Wrestling the Bull.
General Manager, Restaurant in Harrisburg:
Pros: If you're lucky enough to find yourself at the right store, the store largely runs itself: employees know what to do, the managers are adequate if not great, and your OSAT should be somewhere between 60-70. If you want to make it go anywhere, you'd have to wrestle with your crew on top of putting in the extra legwork to boost sales and build local relationships.
Cons: The job has a tendency to draw in employees looking for easy money and they don't understand that making and delivering pizza is NOT the whole job.
Compound that with the current culture of it being absolutely okay to berate and harass FF and QSR workers, and it makes me want nothing more than to leave.
September 2022
Fun, happy, fast paced.
General Manager, Restaurant in Sanford:
Pros: Teaching, training, upholding standards and exceeding expectations
Cons: Constant demands, hard to maintain work/life balance and exceed expectations
September 2022
Fast Paced, and always on the move.
General Manager, Restaurant in Euless:
Pros: I enjoy being able to train people and help them understand the company's goals. Such as developing self and others, achieve results, fostering collaboration, adapt to change, and to put customers first.
Cons: I don't like how much gossip revolves around working in the food industry. Currently trying to find a way to fix that.
