The data we collect will be used to produce the 2020 Compensation Best Practices Report. Location

Respondents come from all over the world, including the United States, Canada and beyond. Organizations with both single and multiple locations are represented.

Organization Size

We defined four organizational sizes for comparison as follows: Small (1-99 employees), Mid (100-747 employees), Large (750-4,999 employees) and Enterprise (5,000 or more employees).

Industry and Org Type

We get respondents from both public and private companies. Typical industries represented are technology, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Nonprofit. We also have respondents from government, schools, higher ed, hospitals, cooperatives and trade associations.

Job Level

Most respondents identify as Managers. However, we also have respondents that identify as individual contributors, directors, vice-presidents or C-level executives.
