What is it like working as a Training & Development Manager?

Training & Development Manager:
Systems, tools, and resources are insufficient for our training needs. The company as a whole does not have a real spirit of learning, although it gets preached from on high. The sales people have lots of training resources but everybody else is left out to dry; even the teams responsible for it don’t get the resources needed to do their jobs. The VP’s over training change their minds almost daily and blame their people for not achieving results.
