Cons: 1. Policies. 2. Even more policies.

Dealing With State Government Is tough.
Test Analyst:
Working as a contracted agency for a state government means you inherit a spaghetti network of contracts with senseless contract terms dictated by the petty bureaucracies of pompous elected officials or their appointees. Be aware of this before you start.

Good Overall.

Pros: The people I work with, and the challenges I encounter at work everyday.
Cons: There is not enough training in my opinion and some people are not that friendly or social.

The Job.
Test Analyst:
Pros: Being a Tester and adding value to the SDLC. Assisting and helping peers and learning new things.
Cons: Under-appreciation of Testing as an important part of the SDLC. Management that dont understand the value of Testing.

Pros: Exploring how the application works. Playing around to find defects. Helping to deliver close to zero defect system/application.
Cons: Being involved late on the testing phase. Predetermine go live time.

Cons: Stress level close to a release.
