Technical Support Engineer Reviews

What is it like working as a Technical Support Engineer?

February 2022
Satisfying Work - Undervalued.
Technical Support Engineer in Orlando:
Pros: Being a Lead Technical Support Engineer is a great job. I love the work, the troubleshooting, the interaction with other employees.
Cons: The pay is the lowest pay in the industry at T-Mobile. I can not understand how the most critical link between customer and network is paid such low wages. Escalations that no other team in the company can resolve are sent to our teams, and we provide the final assessment of the customer's network. We utilize the most tools, and have the most diverse knowledge base of the entire company. Everything from provisioning, to RAN, to RF environment, to call quality and traces come through our technicians and we have the lowest salary and least recognition within T-Mobile.
