It's Much More Complex Than It Seems (And That's Great)
Social Media Specialist:
Pros: This job requires you to stay on top of the marketing wave, keeping track of the latest changes, trying out different techniques and always compete for users' attention with your rivals.
Also, social media professionals get unique view on the insights behind brand's posts, analytics and other data that improves understanding of business and marketing as a whole.
Your job is to be social.
Cons: Efforts often need to be limited to what the client is paying for. If clients are not on a full-scale social media package, your efforts will have to be scaled down significantly, which in its turn will raise questions about ROI of your position, if such a situation holds on for too long.
Unplugging is much harder than it is for many other jobs.
