Pros: Cheap: The first advantage for a working professional would be the low cost of living in the city. Everything in the city is dirt cheap. If you're from Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore you'll feel you can live life king size in Kolkata with a similar expenditure pattern. Cons: Bad things: TRAFFIC and WEATHER. Good things: FOOD, historic sites and Pandal hopping durning Durga Puja. In Kolkata the traffic is very bad. It takes at least 45 minutes to one hour to get anywhere in the city. Another very bad thing about this city is the very hot and humid climate. As soon as a person comes out of the shower he/she starts sweating. Of the good things about Kolkata the street food is the best. Having puchkas(gol gappas/pani puri) in Kolkata is the best thing ever.

Pros: First is travelling to office and back to home in a crowdly packed train. Shopping near railway stations such as Andheri while travelling. Eating foods such as chats, chinese, vada pav, etc. Life is very fast and day gets over very quick, getting little time to think and plan.
Cons: Nothing.
