You must have a will to always do more and not necessarily be recognized for all of your efforts, while praising, training, assisting others without complaint. To excel one must go above and beyond to prove their worth and build a good team.

Pros: Managing from the front, love to work as a team for a common goal to satisfy customers with good food and service.
Cons: Hours of work no family life handling different gusts with different mood different situation any wrong service or any dissatisfaction.

Disappointing Pay Scale Versus Hours Worked.
Restaurant Manager:
Negotiate a realistic pay scale for the amount of hours worked including quarterly bonuses and escalating annual vacation benefit. Pay close attention to sales particularly as they impact labor and food costs. Provide constant communication to employees with bi-weekly reports to owner to keep them informed as to challenges faced and recommended remedial actions and associated expenses.
