April 2023
Overworked and Underpaid.

September 2022
You have no voice and are an emotional punching bag for patients and nurses.
Patient Access Representative in Wichita:
Pros: The opportunity to show kindness to patients and assist them in allaying their financial concerns
Cons: Rude patients/families and coworkers. Unempathetic and socially unaware doctors and nurses.
August 2022
Rewarding but no incentives.
Patient Access Representative in Wilmington:
Pros: Patients have become like family through the years. I have seen many pass away and had the honor of comforting their families since they continue to co.e I to the office.
Cons: I started this job 27 years ago took on another position as lead, but I wanted to be more one on one with patients. They past 2 years with only a .10 cent raise and employees with no experience come in making $15 an hour, how can this be fair. Each person should be based on years and dedication to employer. Employees leaving and making $3 more an hour with so less experience.
August 2022
Wage transparency is nonexistent.
Patient Access Representative in Alexandria:
Pros: The ability to help patients make sure their information is recorded accurately to avoid billing mistakes and proper insurance repayment.
Cons: HR's lack of care and justification for raise denials. There is no advice as to what structure or metric goals, I should be working on to achieve a raise. My military experience and education did not seem to matter when I requested a raise. The response read generic and advised me to look for other opportunities that would suit my interest best, rather than trying to retain me.
July 2022
Decent dayshift job, but steep learning curve.
Patient Access Representative in Los Angeles:
Pros: Generally friendly co-workers, professional atmosphere
Cons: lack of consistency across different departments
June 2022
Good job to start with in medical field.

Cons: no advancement to move up
