May 2023
Not Quite Waterford.
Laboratory Manager in Waterford:
Pros: I live in Waterford, however I work in Rochester Hills. Waterford is a bit more suburban and is a pleasant place to live.
Cons: Going to Rochester Hills is about 20 min on average and is not a poor commute 9 of 10 times.
March 2023
We desperately need help.
Laboratory Manager in Miami:
Pros: I am a born and raised local. I love the weather obviously. I love the amount of activities I have close by and having my family close.
Cons: We desperately need rent control. Our rents have gone up by $550 a year sometimes, forcing people to move outside the city and deal with horrible commutes. Who is even renting these apartments? Salaries are not keeping pace with the cost of living. People need to vote and make their needs heard, because the people in charge are not taking care of us. I am sick of being an adult who has followed all the rules and can't afford a modest life.
October 2022
Cost of Living increases only.
Laboratory Manager in Glendive:
Pros: Doing work that makes life better for patients.
Cons: No work ladder for improvement and even with good to great performance receive no bonuses/incentives/or extra pay over the rest of the employees in my area only cost of living raises.
October 2022
Good place to work and live.
Laboratory Manager in Milan:
Pros: Many different opportunities, highly skilled personnel
Cons: Salary when changing working place depends more on how much you earned in the previous position than on the competencies and responsibilities of the new position.
