Endoscopy Technician in Las Cruces:
Working in an out patient care unit is very fast pace. Techs must be efficient and do all duties as assigned with the up most respect for patient care, co workers, and physicians. It is physically a demanding job especially when you are assisting physicians in procedures. Room turn over in-between procedures must be as clean and neat as possible since it is a nonsterile environment, It is essential to know the proper pre cleaning procedure of instrument before transportation to decontamination , and manual cleaning of the instrument before high level disinfection. Must know the difference between certain instruments to know how to properly clean and disinfect and what steps to do in certain circumstances. ...... Be informed ask questions.."Teamwork" Be a team player without the work there is no team. Without the team no work gets done!
