Customer Service Coordinator Reviews

What is it like working as a Customer Service Coordinator?

February 2019
I work in an innovative and positive Atmosphere.
Customer Service Coordinator in Edmonton:
Pros: I get to talk to the amazing tenants daily. I have developed relationships with the commercial tenants. My coworker and I plan events for the commercial building once a month and host the events. We have a great team and a wonderful building with a gym and café area.
Cons: I am at a desk that requires someone to be present at to answer the phones so I am not able to leave the desk unless someone else is watching it. I am technically security throughout the day so if there is someone that needs to leave, I am required to ask them to leave or ask maintenance to come to the desk. I have a degree and would like to move into human resources.

Cons: lack of incentive, opportunity, development, coaching, training, plus there's little to no collaboration and a bunch of nonsense and poor behavior is tolerated and/or ignored - so unprofessional

Rush hour traffic is not so good. We have to pay close to a thousand dollars a month just for parking.

Pros: If there are activities after work downtown I am close to them. There are many places to stop on the way home if I need groceries and/or gas as I live out in the country.
