Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
Pros: Being a certified nurse has actually made me feel good about myself. This is something that I love to do. Before I became a CNA, I was actually taking care of my mom when she was sick at the time. Its just knowing that one day I might get old or sick and I would want someone there for me. So I feel a little bit of what there feeling.
Cons: There isn't anything about the job that I dislike. If anything it would be the staff on shift. But nothing to serious. There's a place and time for everything. I have no kids so I have the time.

CNA wage vs Work duties.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
CNA wages should have a significant increase. The job description is vague, to the tasks that are actually performed daily. The physical nature of the job takes a toll on your body. However the tasks and duties are so much more than what is typically mentioned. I to, have saved countless lives, I have healed decubes, I have also helped rehabilitate patients after surgery. The amount of work that goes into this job on a daily basis, clearly is not recognized by the state -in the yearly salary/ hourly wage. You can not simply measure a CNA pay scale by the clinical studies we attend. Work the floor as a CNA for a week, then indicate what u think a salary should be. I guarantee you will have a new perspective as well as a greater appreciation.
