What is it like working as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)?

The management.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
Pros: The people I work for , the elderly, they are exceptional people that have the wisdom of a fulfilled life. Some of them have seen a lot of hardships but still hold there own in this ever changing world we live in.
Cons: Only when there is nothing that you can do for them.

Certified nursing assistants are over worked and under paid.

Teamwork.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
Pros: I love how they work with you. If you need time off you can get it. If you want more or less clients they will make that happen. When you call your nurse if she's not their she will call you right back to help you when you need it.
Cons: Nothing. When my client was sick on the hospital they did everything they could to find me some work. So I can't find anything wrong.

I love what I do.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):
Pros: My residents and my coworkers. The time I've invested.
Cons: Management doesn't put the residents first. Also, they require the nursing assistants to put do everything, including serving meals and washing dishes (which is not in the resident assistant job description and they are not trained on kitchen, including the machines), and the residents are last priority.
