Assistant Store Manager Reviews
What is it like working as an Assistant Store Manager?
April 2016
Decent.
Assistant Store Manager:
Pros: Decent pay.
Close to home.
Cons: Unpredictable hours.
Not paid enough for everything I do.
Recent new hire now makes more than me.
February 2016
A cruel world.
Assistant Store Manager:
Pros: I enjoy the diversity in the work place, with more then 260+ associates employed in the building, you come across some very awesome people.
Cons: Associates are treated like animals at some points by some managers and certain levels of business leaders, as if the person doesn't have a life and that you can treat them anyway you want because they need a paycheck.
When company programs are launched which feels like there's something new every month, people figure out that it doesn't work or cheat the system to never give it a chance to work. When the system doesn't work it takes usually a year or longer until a new system comes into place, but for the most part it always reverts back to the way it always was done.
January 2016
Assistant Store Manager:
Pros: Has good benefits and overall a friendly atmosphere.
Cons: Long hours and split days off. Very demanding gives you little time with your family. Have to work most weekends and most holidays.

January 2016
Alot of work, but could be worse.
Assistant Store Manager:
Pros: I get to interact with associates daily and develop their skill sets to be better merchants. Also taking care of difficult customers is a good feeling if you can turn their experience to a positive one.
Cons: Never out in time. The demands of the job continue to increase, but there seems to be less compensation bonus wise yearly. Difficult on family life.
December 2015
Be ready to work hard hours.
Assistant Store Manager:
Be flexible.
November 2015
Stressful.
Assistant Store Manager:
Pros: The employees that worked for me.
Cons: They ask to much or you with no time to do it and no resources to be able to complete your work. You always have to work off the clock in order to get anything done.
