Assistant Store Manager Reviews
What is it like working as an Assistant Store Manager?
July 2014
Amount of time away from home.
Assistant Store Manager:
Be prepared to be all in all the time.
June 2014
Assistant Store Manager:
I would have asked a lot more questions and would have stood for my initial pay request of $11.00 an hour before getting hired on to this company.
I was not aware of the constant visits by store personnel like district manager, regional manager, loss prevention manger and the president visits. Always having to prepare for a visit every two weeks. Its grueling and demanding and the pay is not worth the stress it causes.
June 2014
Changing range of additional responsibilities.
Assistant Store Manager:
Plan to drive performance and communicate well.
March 2014
It's fair.
Assistant Store Manager:
Pros: Communicating with people.
Cons: Rude customers.
January 2014
It's Ok To Say No!
Assistant Store Manager:
Don't let the management walk over you, know your own mind and have confidence to realize you know what you're talking about.
December 2013
Good company. Just Needs Better Remuneration.
Assistant Store Manager:
Listen to what the needs of the company and your store manager are looking for. Remember that you work for your staff and are there to support them.
