What is it like working at Walgreen's Pharmacy?

I find it rewarding when I see my usual patients and we connect on a deeper level than medication and insurance.
Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician in Des Moines:

Frozen Job Market.
Pharmacy Manager in Cottage Grove:
Pros: Working with students
Cons: Pay, schedule
Not very respected or appreciated and neutral, not that bad.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) in Halethorpe:
Pros: An opportunity to gain experience in the field. My days off are 2 in a row.
Cons: No communication, high turnover, rules/policies change day to day according to store needs which is confusing, nothing is neutral or ever falls to your favor, the 1 bathroom is shared with all customers, drug addicts & open to the public, No safety security, only women are hired (my guess is to pay a lower wage), its every man for himself, the good people that try to work as a team have massive difficulty.
Hard dealing with patients who have no patience.
