Walgreen's Pharmacy Reviews

What is it like working at Walgreen's Pharmacy?

At my walgreens, very stressful and frustrating.
Pharmacy Technician in Levittown:
Pros: The people I work with. The team that I'm apart of both the front end of the store and the pharmacy. The individuals I work with are the best part of my job.
Cons: The way my scheduling and efficiency concerns are addressed or should I say not. The expectations Corporate places upon us are unrealistic. Not all locations have the same volume but the time and details that are expected of certain things seem to come, at times, before the patient
Stressful under appreciated antiquated computer systems.
Retail Shift Supervisor in Ellsworth:
Pros: Customers co workers cash handling
Cons: Stressful processes of tasks take way too much time and old and outdated procedures
A learning opportunity.
Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician in Killeen:
Pros: Always busy, get task done and resolving problems for patients so they have one less thing to worry about.
Cons: Not enough employees
Benefits for working here have declined dramatically in the last 5 years.
Retail Store Assistant Manager in Yucaipa:
Pros: Customers and merchandising
Cons: upper management
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) in Memphis:
It is a great entry-level job in the healthcare field. The beginning pay is not bad and increases the longer you stay with the company. A beginning technician with no training can start making $10/hr., once certified can make $12-13/hr. Senior technicians (4-5 years’ experience) can make between $14-$18/hr. The bad part is it takes so long to make the better pay and your responsibilities increase as well. It is not a good salary for certified or senior technicians that do so much work daily. The pay should definitely be higher there.
Fast-paced, but not enough time for everything.
Senior Pharmacy Technician in Middleboro:
Pros: I really enjoy when I can resolve a problem entirely--from beginning to end.
Cons: I don't like how there is more and more tasks placed on the technicians and pharmacists, with less and less hours to complete them.
It’s too stressful. Under staffed all the time. Too many complaints.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) in Jackson:
Pros: Helping customers.
Cons: Working myself to death and getting blamed for everything
