Walgreen's Pharmacy Reviews

What is it like working at Walgreen's Pharmacy?

Busy but good.
Pharmacy Technician in Amarillo:
Pros: There are clear procedures and rules so there is never a lot of problem solving to do. I also like my coworkers.
Cons: Customers don't understand the lack of control we have over the parts of the filling process that happens outside the pharmacy, (ie how long it takes to get a refill or prior authorization), so they get angry with us.
Extremely stressful and very hectic.
Pharmacy Technician in Katy:
Pros: the coworkers
Cons: old equipment and technology and tight space to work in
Days must be planned and ensure workflow is utilized to ensure customer satisfaction and patient and employees safety are guaranteed.

Hard work but lots of opportunity.

Pros: The ability to build my own team from the ground up.
Cons: The level of unreliable employee you need to engage with on the front end of the store
Short staffed so you’re forced to work hours you don’t want to.

Cons: Short staffed most of the time Working more hours than I want Getting paid less than everyone else that works there
Pharmacy Technician in Knoxville:
Pros: I love my crew. The people I work with are amazing and are one of the few reasons I still continue to work with Walgreens.
Cons: We are always understaffed but are expected to do triple the work. We get verbally abused by customers and can say or do nothing about it and are rarely appreciated.
Helpful hands are ready to help.
