Visiting Angels, Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at Visiting Angels, Inc.?
It's ok. I love caring for others but I just wished that I didn't have to drive to each client. I wish I had one client 8hrs a day.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Houston:
Pros: Making a difference for someone
Cons: The low pay and driving all over
I love building relationships with the clients, just the schedule manager, is rude at times and I feel friendship gets in the way.
Caregiver in Lincoln:
Pros: My clients that I’ve built relationships with
Cons: The rude management at times and they not confidential, will share with other caregivers
Rewarding & Satisfying.
Multiskilled Caregiver in St. Louis:
Pros: My bosses are so easy to talk to & put their employees needs above everything
Cons: Pay
Training and Supportive Supervisors are an asset.
Patient Care Associate in Philadelphia:
Pros: Travel Patient Care and flexibility to work and learn
Cons: More of an understanding of the route of the company , seeing longevity .
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Port Orchard:
Pros: I like being able to help the clients/patients that I work with, along with helping their families. The client is always my number one priority, which if I can make them happy, along with keeping them safe and fulfilling my duties as a CNA, I'm very happy after that shift.
I am happy that I am able to let the office know when I have appointments or will be unavailable, eg. that I don't need to fill out special paperwork for the day off every time I have a doctor's appointment.
Cons: There is a lot of negative judgement that can be brought on by a client's family or even the office. No matter how much I try to make them all happy, the family is always correct, which then leads to me getting in trouble. The office will call and send messages at all hours of the day, for shift offers or other things.
Also, I am currently underpaid for my education level and my years of work that I have put in as a CNA. Especially that I've put in all 7 of these years as a CNA at this same particular company.
Scheduling Coordinator in Bayonne:
Pros: What I like most is that I am able to help client's with the assistance they need and the employees with the work they need.
Cons: I don't ever receive the credit I deserve. Although i go above and beyond my title my salary nor title has yet to change. My co-worker happens to receive the credit for my work, and when she corrects the director letting him know the work was done by me I still do not receive the credit for it.
It can be stressful most times but I feel accomplished when I can get all cases covered.
Home Health Aide (HHA) Scheduler in Bayonne:
Pros: Helping the elderly to find someone they can trust to help them daily
Cons: I feel like my work goes unnoticed and I am not appreciated for going above and beyond my work for my employer
