Visiting Angels, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Visiting Angels, Inc.?

I prefer being stationery with one client rather than a different client every day, so does most clients.
Caregiver in Kansas City:
Pros: They usually try to accommodate me, as opposed to distance driving to work.
Cons: Management turnover is high and they never offer raises for well done jobs
Fabulous clients and great care managers.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Mount Vernon:
Pros: I love the flexibility and meeting wonderful people. Everyone has a story and a history.
Cons: I do not receive a bonus for longevity. I have been with the company for 5 years and I get paid the same as someone that was hired 2 weeks ago. I wish their was paid vacation and the medical benefits were better. Their medical benefits do jot offer physical therapy, mental health or equipment reimbursement.
Visiting Angels for the wealthy, not for everybody.
Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Portland:
Pros: The clients I care for
Cons: The lack of consideration for the caregivers in honoring their availability. Not providing consistency to the elders.
Not very good communication regarding clients updates.
Caregiver in Bend:
Pros: The people that work there.
Cons: It's not managed as well as other places.
Terrible.
Home Health Aide in Cullman:
Pros: I like the flexible schedule
Cons: There are opportunities for raises. People that have 0 health care experience make the same as someone that has worked in healthcare for 25 years.
Under paid.
Caregiver in Idaho Falls:
Pros: My clients
Cons: Pushing incentives, rewarding people for being a floater and not rewarding those who clients report a superior job I do
Rewarding, stressful, frustrating...all at the same time sometimes.
Home Health Caregiver in Redmond:
Pros: Caring for clients & seeing how it makes them happy as well as the family
Cons: Underpaid - Makes me feel like I am not valued & I feel taken advantage of
