Lead Generator:
I was hired to be a lead generator, but received very weak to little training. I decided to learn on my own and took courses on my own time, including paying for a course, but management never really cared.
My job as the store's primary lead generator came with various restriction on what qualified as a lead in my areas of promotion, but over time, Home Depot pushed all its store associates to put in leads with no restrictions on them. They would never share leads with me. What leads I got I fought for; I took them before anyone else.
I could never get my primary supervisors to supply with me the samples or business cards I needed to do my job.
I have no control of the final sale process in the areas I was promoting, that was someone's job and rarely did a sale go through.
I begged, and pleaded with managers to let me shadow a person who was generating more leads than I was, only to be told no time and time again.
This is important to me, but no one cares to see that I really wanted to succeed.
Working with numerous oportunities to grow and develop people.
