Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in San Antonio:
Pros: Building trust and rapport with our residents. Developing successful strategies to improve my overall performance.

Never a dull moment....or a quiet one.
Director, Nursing in Silver Spring:
Pros: Every day is different and the folks I work with
Cons: Still in somewhat of a chaotic environment. Not really sure what comes next.
I loved every aspect of my job, but increasing responsibilities were added & new director down talked to me, made fun of my accent, & embarrassed me publicly on several occasions.
Activities Coordinator in Brookfield:
Pros: Making my residents happy through engaging activities, and offering a big smile every single day and night.
Cons: Extreme unpredictability, low employee morale, building infrastructure falling apart including bats flying around, mice running through main dining room, huge bee hive in courtyard that could have stung residents, no sense of urgency on the part of most of the CNAS, cleanliness absent except when there would be open house.
