Publix Super Markets Inc Reviews
What is it like working at Publix Super Markets Inc?
Decent hard work.
Deli Associate in Land O' Lakes:
Pros: the employees and serving the customers
Cons: rude customers, things not going right at the job
If your looking for full time, you'll be dissatisfied.
Deli Clerk in Culpeper:
Pros: The good, it makes a great starter job for part time young people as it is a great company with good benefits even for part timers. I also think that most everyone both associate and customers are very friendly.
Cons: The bad, if you are looking for full time, you are going to be very frustrated with the system. You go through an initial 90 day probation period when you first hired and only after that can you apply for full time but even then, it will take on average 5-6 months for it to be approved; sometimes even longer than that.
It’s okay but stressful.
Front End Clerk in Maitland:
Pros: It’s like having a second family.
Cons: Cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning!
I enjoy my job but the people within the company have taken the joy and love out of the work we are doing.
Cake Decorator in Grayson:
Pros: I like being busy always having a task to do have large amounts of work i like moving .
Cons: The people that run the company have created rules and regulations making the jobs and the tasks incapable of being completed to the best standards for consumers cause conflict within the store. Associates are stressed and overworked and put in positions of not moving out of negative environments.
Bakery Clerk in Tampa:
Publix was a wonderful place to work. Training was proactive and regular, management was fair, and the working environment was safe. Compensation was not adequate and I literally had to dip into my own savings to keep on top of my monthly expenses while I was there.
When is she picking it up ??
Cake Decorator in Jacksonville:
Pros: my hours
Cons: Don't like doing my job plus deli-I'm suppose to be a cake decorator
It is better than Wal-Mart lol.
Cashier in Norcross:
Pros: Getting paid weekly instead of bi-weekly
Cons: I am depended on too much for my pay
