Michaels Stores Reviews
What is it like working at Michaels Stores?
I wish I could.
Customer Service Manager in Torrington:
Pros: Doing the floor you move around, doing Bopis orders and Online orders, putting away returns.
Cons: The training is horrible you are being thrown to the wolves because if their is an issue the people who know how to do it basically do it for you and don't show you. You have to quickly watch what's going on and hope that you catch on fast and quick, not enough hour's corporate wants a lot done and the store manager but when you're only working 4 hours and limited time your wrecking yourself on how to make it possible.
Fun, but underpaid.
Customer Experience Manager in Tulsa:
Pros: I love the products we sell. I love the inclusiveness, it's one area where michaels really practices what it preaches. The work is relatively easy and most of the customers are genuinely decent people.
Cons: The work is definitely underpaid, and the process for receiving raises/promotions is a bit muddled. The training program is pretty awful, at least in our store.
