Leidos Reviews

What is it like working at Leidos?

How good it is depends on who your manager is.
Research Scientist, Biotechnology in Rockville:
Pros: Good colleagues, low stress about meeting project deadlines in general
Cons: Management seems to have no clue what they want from you. Continuously move goal posts once you’ve just started to work on something.
Great place to work overall.
Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Puyallup:
Pros: Low stress, supportive supervisor and team, opportunities for bonuses, flexible schedule.
Cons: Pay could be better. Wish there were more training opportunities, or a budget to use towards CEUs.
Great company, tough contract.
Safety Specialist in Washington:
Pros: I enjoy being billable, I work for one contract so I do not have to worry about logging multiple billable contracts.
Cons: There is no opportunity for growth
Billing Analyst Satisfied.
Billing Analyst in Tucson:
Pros: I feel the company culture is positive and encouraging and fosters a sense of teamwork. There is a good amount of opportunity to grow with the company and learn new skills to grow into new positions within or across departments.
Cons: I feel my job is a little monotonous and the time pressure of regular turnaround doesn't allow for as thorough and deep work as is expected.
Initial inspection orders parts and doing finals.
Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) Inspector in Kuwait City:
Pros: My job and working with my Co workers like a family member
Cons: To learn different types of skills and jobs
Best Company I have worked for.
Systems Administrator in Hamada:
Pros: I work in direct support for the United Sates Armed Forces and being able to provide feed back and suggestions to my supervisor and know it will be considered is the best feeling.
Cons: A lot of company training.
Under Utilized; but able to Lead.
Senior Vice President (SVP), Operations in Reston:
Pros: Daily operations is entirely up to me. Coordination is necessary, reporting as expected, but authority is well within my own organization.
Cons: Believe the SVP level could be better utilized in the eye of the public, to include marketing, shareholder presentations, news releases, interviews, etc. I believe this is a significantly under used tool in the company's toolbox.
