Kaiser Permanente Reviews

What is it like working at Kaiser Permanente?

Operations Support Specialist in San Francisco:
Leave the union and meet the real Kaiser. If you know how to work independently you'll be allowed to carry managers who know less than you do but who will give you no credit for your work. You'll find toxic politics, a culture where most of the employees (including most -- not all -- of the senior leaders are trying to wring every dime they can out of the system and are not interested in improving the organization) and where all they talk about is care but all they think about is money. There are some excellent medical providers at Kaiser but they're thwarted by almost completely incompetent administrators -- especially in Finance.
Kaiser is an excellent place to work.

Radiologic Technologist in Whittier:
Pros: I like the pay, benefits, and flexibility on the schedule.

Pros: Mission driven not for profit where all profits flow to our members or communities
Cons: The slow pace of change and focus on tenure over ability/contributions
Overwhelming. As an RN CM many things are my direct responsibility. I feel could be dispersed to the other LVNs on my unit.

Cons: Way too much stressful things to do and not enought time to get it done.
