Great people, Engaging work, Flexible schedule.

I make meaningful contributions to the team.

Cons: Large company, slow to move
I love it.
Retail Supervisor in Grand Rapids:
Pros: My coworkers all get along very well.
Cons: I feel like I am overqualified for the job and should find a higher paying position.
It’s tough when you first start out. You’re low priority.
Stylist in Bakersfield:
Pros: Store/employee discounts
Cons: The commute and the lack of foot traffic due to COVID
Sales Consultant, Jewelry in Pharr:
Pros: Interacting with my clients, the opportunity to earn more due to commission
Cons: Management, they create a hostile environment: jcpenny promotes using the golden rule not in this store . Using intimidation with employees is unacceptable. . Job Opportunities should be based on merit not seniority or because of association .
My Job.
Sales Associate in Fort Wayne:
Pros: I like working with customers and helping them find what they were looking for.
Cons: I do not like some of my coworkers because they feel like they are the boss and try to tell me what to do when in all actuality they are just sales associates like me.
Retail Store Assistant Manager in Vienna:
JCPenney allows me to have a great work/life balance as a salaried employee. The pay and amount of PTO they offered when I was hired was above average. The new CEO seems to really know her stuff and the company is headed in a more profitable direction.
