Healthcare Services Group, Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at Healthcare Services Group, Inc.?
Extreme Burnout.
Account Manager in Tell City:
Pros: Residents, my Executive Director and employees
Cons: I am salary and doing 80% hourly labor vs computer
Registered Dietitian in Denver:
Pros: The RD team is fantastic.
Cons: Not specifically with the company but the profession in general is severely undervalued and underpaid. I recently saw a job posting for a dog groomer with a higher salary than the average Registered Dietitian. It is honestly heartbreaking.
I love my facility.
Account Manager in Claremont:
Pros: What I like most about working here, is my coworkers and residents they are what keep me here. I also love the fact it is close to home and I don't have to travel far during snow storms.
Cons: What I least like is how poor they pay, and the benefits are terrible you may as well not have any type of insurance through the company. I definitely feel very unappreciated, and so do my staff. We all depend on each other so much here, and we do really love working here but there are times when working here makes it hard to live in the real world. What I mean when I say that, is the prices of food are going up, rent, electricity. Anything you need to survive or raise your family is expensive and what we make here with the company is just not enough to survive. In our town, our wages cannot even begin to compete with the other business in town. They all make much more than my staff do and honestly its not right, these housekeepers work hard, blood, tears and sweat. They need to be noticed and compensated for their hard work.
Unsure of the outcome.
District Manager, Food & Facilities Management Services in North Salt Lake:
Pros: Having a strong tie with taking care of the elderly
Cons: The hours and lack of communication from leadership regarding pay and the amount of hours expected of you.
Over worked and underpaid.
Account Manager in Portland:
Pros: The fact that I’m in charge
Cons: I must do and fix everything and sometimes fix other buildings too.
Dietary Aide in Millersburg:
Low pay not enough help when required. Nobody listens to the main concerns anybody has. Also the workflow is too individualized. Have not many concerns with the main working staff but management could be a lot better.
Very busy and stressful but worth it for the residents.
Certified Dietary Manager in Newington:
Pros: Management support amd pay
Cons: Being asked to jump from building to building frequently
