HCA, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at HCA, Inc.?

Company doesn’t care about employees.
Registered Nurse (RN) in San Jose:
Pros: My team
Cons: The way management treats employees
Registered Nurse (RN), Critical Care in Houston:
Team is great, but management needs revamping. The new CNO doesn’t seem to have remembered being a floor nurse based on the policies she’s implementing. Pay is lower than average. My fellow nurses are second to none and we are a team. However we are in a staffing crisis, seemingly since I started working there.
Satisfying.
Charge Nurse (RN) in Houston:
Pros: Helping people
Cons: Lack of communication
Very stressful.
Emergency Room (ER) Secretary in Ocala:
Pros: I love my co-workers, they make the stress and heavy work load not as bad
Cons: They are constantly doing things the hard way. Always taking two steps back instead of being innovative which in turn puts much more work and stress on the employees
Unit Secretary in Ocala:
Pros: Coworkers are the best part
Cons: They are constantly adding on more responsibilities with no policies in place to protect the employee from legal retaliation. The company expects more work for low level pay
Challenging work.
Laboratory Director in Houston:
Pros: Problem solving
Cons: Delivering corrective action
I enjoy good coworkers and have a reasonable but hectic work pace.
Registered Nurse (RN) in Richmond:
Pros: I enjoy teaching and helping people get better from physical ailments.
Cons: I feel like a cog in a massive machine that does not care about individuals
