Casey's General Stores, Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at Casey's General Stores, Inc.?
I enjoy the customers. And the work is fine. The pay is not even starting pay though.
Customer Service Team Leader in New Johnsonville:
Pros: i can make food
Cons: the pay and the managers ignoring you. all of the drama and rumors. not even being paid starting pay after 8 months
Attitude is everything.
Kitchen Manager in Caney:
Pros: The sense of accomplishment and pride at the end of any particularly difficult day that because of my team and their hard work, the work flow environment stays consistent and positive.
Cons: Definitely a discrepancy for the workload to pay rate ratio. Corporate Management expects us to be responsible for so much, all the while continuing to take away our resources to meet said expectation.
Stressful at times but it’s a fun environment. Just my current manager is extremely judgmental.
Pizza Cook / Chef / Maker in Litchfield:
Pros: The people I work with
Cons: The manager
Very tedious and stressful.
General Store Manager in Omaha:
Cons: Condescending Senior Management. Lack of communication on a corporate level. No paid holidays even though they're advertised. Zero consistency with policies and how they are upheld. Extremely unrealistic and unattainable expectations for certain location managers, basically setting them up for failure. Blatant disregard for health hazards on a store level even after they are submitted into service numerous times. Overall pretty disorganized.
Hard Work, Have to Be fast.
Kitchen Manager in Waverly:
Pros: The Customers , the people I work with both are for the most part kind and friendly. I love to clean when I'm able.
Cons: When you get an order for 10 pizzas and two more orders come in stating the same time to be finished. Also all the company cares about is money they do not care if they keep employees or not as long as they can push there food and make their 9.2 billion $ a year! It's all gone Corporate its definitely a small town company like they want you to think. I dont know how our Store Manager can deal with all the stress the put on her. This Store becomes your life!
Budgeted hours are a joke for a busy store like mine.
Convenience Store Manager in Pleasanton:
Pros: Most of my team
Cons: Too stressful and not enough budgeted hours
It's exciting learning new things but the pay is not great.
Retail Store Assistant Manager in New Hartford:
Pros: Learning new things and interacting with customers
Cons: Lazy employees
