Baptist Health Reviews

What is it like working at Baptist Health?

I enjoy working with my peers and working for my providers and patients.
Clinical Coordinator in Elizabethtown:
Pros: Woundcare
Cons: Rescheduling patients
Exploitative.
Laboratory Assistant in New Braunfels:
Pros: I love the environment, coworkers and being able to contribute to the well-being of patients.
Cons: The pay is very unfair for the amount of work you're expected to do.
Overworked and underpaid.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Lexington:
Pros: My fellow employees and providers and when time allows it getting to know and go the extra mile to help patients and people in need.
Cons: The pay and across the board yearly market raises that are the same for all but don't account for inflation. The fact that I have remained loyal, continue to take on the biggest workloads and moved around to the offices with the biggest need while 3 new people will be hired in the place of just myself at an old office for more money each but a raise is out of the question after continuous praise of what I can do.
Changemaker who delivers change as strategic advisor to executives.
Project Manager, (Unspecified Type / General) in Louisville:
Pros: Support from my boss, education opportunities
Cons: pay
Ever changing.
Charge Nurse (RN) in New Albany:
Pros: Able to increase knowledge level of staff nurses and increase their problem solving skills.
Cons: Expectations change hourly
Sterile Processing Technician in Miami:
Definitely not was it used to be. Morale is extremely low and the quality of new hires are sub-par with ZERO experience which places the extra weight on the experienced staff. The “do more with less” is the model.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Conway:
Pay is lower than the lowest average for the state. You earn PTO faster than most companies. However, “holiday pay” comes out of your PTO. Refused to compensate employees infected with COVID from work exposure (management did not send sick employees home). However, I love my coworkers and the doctors I work with.
