Citigroup, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Citigroup, Inc.?

The systems are not the best, however the people I work with are very nice.
Performance Manager in New York:
Pros: My manager trust my ability to do work on my own. She is relaxed and supportive.
Cons: The systems need major upgrade. Many maker/checker reviews that are very cumbersome.
Work from home is ok.
Reporting Analyst in Tampa:
Pros: They do a good job of spreading tasks across the team and don’t overwhelm you.
Cons: Management could interact a little more with employees
Business Analyst.
Business Analyst, Finance/Banking in Tampa:
Pros: The training we receive.
Cons: The attitude of management, it is expected that you go above and beyond, therefore there is never recognition for when you do go above and beyond.
Horrible place.
Financial Advisor in Staten Island:
Pros: Flexibility, I come and go as I please
Cons: Extremely organized and inefficient. Constant poor management decisions. Place is completely upside down. Your key to success at this company is knowing the right people, NOT your actual value.
Learning a lot but under paid for the value of work provided.
Senior Analyst, Compensation in Tampa:
Pros: It's a positive and inclusive group of people
Cons: The hours of work expected for the pay is laughable
Corporate Trainer in Erlanger:
Pros: I like that it’s a challenging role. I think Citi does a great job at promoting within and giving growth opportunities to those who work hard.
Cons: Constant change, and some toxicity.
Vice President (VP), Strategy in New York:
Pros: My manger, working in corporate social responsibility, some autonomy
Cons: The wrong people get promoted, politics, bureaucracy, bad technology
