Lowe's Home Improvement Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at Lowe's Home Improvement Inc.?
Repetitive in Task's but you get to Move Around the Store.
Retail Merchandiser in Spokane:
Pros: I get to use Machinery and Tool's and Build Display's and Steel Racking with my Hands. I also like that New Displays and Fixture's come in that require Construction and Placement.
Cons: As Decent as my Job is, it doesn't pay enough to pay my Bill's, and my Job is Rigid and Inflexible, and Directly Prevents me from Obtaining a 2nd Job to make the Additional Income I need.
Customer Service Sales Associate in Dedham:
The first year starts out with a "rah rah team" feeling but quickly becomes very man for themselves. Management lacking in people skills tend to micro manage everyone to get their projects done but don't give associates credit for being on the front line. Lot of call outs because people get burned out from being overworked. Managers don't support associates when customers argue for a discount.
Unresolved Concerns.
Sales Associate in Lincoln:
Pros: Working with the public, and the people in-store who see and appreciate what I do.
Cons: Lack of fair compensation for the work I’m doing!
Front End Manager in Tempe:
Pros: Coaching and creating a fun and positive environment
Cons: No consistancy when it comes to accountability
Its fun learning about the different products we sell and helping customers but the operational changes are unreasonably stressful with no remedy to the bad habits forking them.
Customer Service Associate in Phoenix:
Pros: Helping the customers figure out how to start or finish their small or large projects.
Cons: The lack of supervision, training, operational readiness and overall morale along with turnover. You cant win
Unrewarding, but a Good Step.
Sales Specialist in Winston-Salem:
Pros: I enjoy that I am mostly allowed to do my own thing. I am able to develop my own sales technique and am given plenty of latitude to solve my own problems.
Cons: I dislike the lack of communication. This is rampant and is not specific to my position. On the plus side, management at my store allows me to solve my own problems.
Retail Customer Service.
Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Mocksville:
Pros: Assisting Customers complete projects.
Cons: Wages at Big Box Retail Corporations is not a living wage for majority of employees.
