Lowe's Home Improvement Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at Lowe's Home Improvement Inc.?
Sales Specialist in Indianapolis:
Lowe’s is like any company, you get what you put in. If you work hard and care, they will respect and reward you. Great benefits, great compensation, management varies store to store. Professionalism and work ethic talk.
Overnight Stocker in Chester:
Pros: No manager breathing down my back
Cons: I don't think I'm paid well enough, and I have lazy co-workers which adds to my workload.
If the store manager is awesome, you are taken care of of.
Retail Department Supervisor in Indiana:
Pros: Respect for hard work and latitude to make decisions
Cons: Staffing can be an issue
Going Down Hill.
Cashier in College Station:
Pros: The one thing I can't complain about is the fact that they listen to us when we tell them which part of front end we like. They put you where you are most comfortable.
Cons: Lack of communication when it comes to the schedule. I have to check every night before bed to make sure I don't go in 3 hours earlier than originally scheduled. No one tells you if it has been changed or not you're just expected to check every night. It has given me anxiety and hard to go to bed based on old situations. I loathe checking my schedule because there have been times I close and check my schedule and they have me opening.
Stressful.
Retail Sales Specialist in Dearborn:
Pros: Helping customers and making metrics
Cons: Store manager clearly staring at meetings that we are replaceable
Good work. Not enough pay. Good benefits.
Sales Associate in Durham:
Pros: I enjoy working with most of the people there.
Cons: My current manager is difficult to work with
Lowes is fantastic as long as good management in place.
Delivery Driver in McKeesport:
Pros: The benefits and some people.
Cons: Poor management and people who don't care beyond themselves
