J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (JPMCC) Reviews
What is it like working at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (JPMCC)?
Operations Analyst in Washington:
Great start to a career but very challenging for longterm stability. JPMC is constantly rotating operations and shifting departments from states to states and sometimes overseas. It was fun being apart of such a massive company but longterm as in 5 yrs don’t ever consider your “position” solid. I was apart of Asset Management Technology and from the Managing Director down watched both the MD and ED get forced retirement and their personal performance was the absolute best management I’d ever worked under. JPMC is a great resume filler and will help your career just always remember no one is safe longterm, that’s ultimately why I decided to leave the company even thou I’m very happy I was part of the organization and it certainly wasn’t a step back in my career.
A Lot.

Bureaucratic, Hierarchical, Tolerant of Mediocrity.
Financial Analyst in New York:
Pros: Collegial environment in the day to day
Cons: The firm is bloated, and is very tolerant of mediocre employees, across all levels of seniority. This makes it difficult to get new initiatives off the ground, and makes it harder for young and hungry talent to take on more responsibility
