Managing People Can Be Frustrating.
Sales and Marketing Manager:
My first experience of managing people was harder than I thought it would be. I wanted to take a mentoring approach but the staff I had then (not now) needed a very direct approach of being told what to do and even then they constantly challenged why they had to do the things I needed them to do. This caused some stress which took a while to overcome and forced me to be a more assertive person than I normally am.
